When we are talking about “soul connections”, we are definitely talking about a deep spiritual connection you feel with certain people in your life. Sometimes, those connections feel amazing and intense. But in some cases, it involves this powerful chemistry, but the connection isn’t one we’d call simple or easy to understand. So what is a soul connection?
WHAT IS A SOUL CONNECTION?
A soul connection is simply when two people feel they are linked on a soul or spiritual level. Plainly said, higher than the original or humanly way. It is like a major transcendence from the way we know or even perceive relationships to be. Generally, this link transcends the earth plane transcending the practical details of your relationship, like being co-workers or lovers, and that something much more brought you together or is at play. Like there are always a lot of questions? Like how in this world did the earth draw you both together. Is it cosmic energy at play though? These questions just keep popping in. Then, how do you understand a soul connection?
UNDERSTANDING SOUL CONNECTIONS
When I hear someone use the word ‘soul connection”, it denotes exclusivity. What I mean is, a soul connection with someone does necessarily have to be a romantic partner. Recently, I watched a movie that explained how deeply a soul connection can be. Many people thought it was love but the girl had a very deep connection with another guy that wasn’t even her romantic partner. And as we’re all part of common humanity or spiritual consciousness, we’re actually all linked on a soul level. How do you recognize a soul connection? How many types of soul connections exist though?
SIGNS OF A SOUL CONNECTION
Some signs of a deep soul connection are;
1. Basically, you have a really high sense of respect for each other.
2. You’re instinctively drawn to them.
3. When you feel comfortable in their presence, that is a clear sign.
4. You can do anything for each other basically.
5. You have no problem keeping up with the conversation.
6. You’re authentic with them. There is no faking or anything like that.
7. Basically, your morals, values, and personalities are aligned.
8. There is genuine support for each other.
9. You can tell when something is wrong because there is trust. Without a doubt, you can tell that there is trust and support.
10. Basically, it feels like you’ve known them for ages.
TYPES OF SOUL CONNECTIONS
Generally, we have eight soul connections. They are;
#1. SOUL PARTNERS:
There are certain souls you agreed to partner with within this lifetime. Basically, this is the most common type of soul connection. Probably you guys agreed to be best friends, in-laws, or even raise your kids together and sometimes open a business together. A soul partnership could be with someone you’ve known intimately in general. Soul partners are specifically designed to help support you in this life emotionally, professionally, sometimes psychologically. Basically, they have a similar view on things and what they want to accomplish together.
#2. SOUL TIES:
When you hear the word soul tie, we are talking about a deep connection with another person. It’s simply the sense that another soul is in your life for a reason. When your life is very busy yet you meet a new potential friend or potential business partner, the sense that you have a soul tie to this person could inspire you to make room in your life for the relationship. Basically, soul ties are strong bonds with someone. It can be thought of as the Bruce Springsteen song.
#3. PAST-LIFE SOUL CONNECTION:
Most Eastern religions and philosophies believe in the concepts of past lives. When this connection is manifesting as a romance, it’s possible that it’s a past-life soul connection. “I’ve never felt this way before though”, most people say. When two souls have shared a significant past life together, if they meet again in this life they may be inexplicably drawn to each other. And basically, there is a lot of sexual energy and/or chemistry.
#4. KARMIC SOUL MATES:
Karmic soul mates are sometimes called “wrecking ball soul mates.” But instead of thinking of karma as good or bad or a system of punishment and reward think of it as merely a neutral energy of cause and effect. Basically, every interaction with this person creates energy that can turn into karma. This isn’t something to fear but something to be mindful of. In karmic relationships usually come into our lives as change agents who facilitate through positive, negative, or neutral interactions. Generally, keep in mind that the soul craves new experiences, growth, and evolution.
#5. ROMANTIC SOUL CONNECTIONS:
The romantic soul connection is my personal favorite. Basically, it is like finding a soul mate and a lover all in one person. When you fall in love with someone that your soul just magnets to, this is a romantic soul connection. They are intuitive in general. However, even in the happiest or healthiest relationships, romantic soul mates can tend to tap dance on your biggest wounds or challenge you in uncomfortable ways. When two souls enter a romantic relationship, it’s like entering a classroom together.
#6. TWIN FLAME SOUL CONNECTION:
Generally, this popular term describes an intense soul connection, and some people believe twin flames are actually one soul that was split into two bodies. According to the theory, twin flames can love, challenge, teach and heal each other in a unique, powerful way. However, it can be really scary to need someone to complete you. However, having and understanding this question is very important. Generally, people believe the twin flame is the ultimate romantic experience. But it doesn’t really have to be a romantic attachment though.
#7. KINDRED SPIRITS:
Kindred spirits aren’t always soul mates, but they can certainly be. These are simply people who really understand you. You might feel a kindred spirit is someone who shares the same spiritual beliefs you have or agrees with you about cultural issues to the point you could finish each other’s sentences. Basically, a kindred spirit might also be someone who has had a similar life experience to yours. It’s incredibly peaceful to be with another soul who just gets it, or you.
#8. SOUL TEACHERS:
Think of a soul teacher as someone who comes into your life at a certain time, meant to teach you something. Basically, it’s just unexplainable. This person is meant to challenge you and help you learn a certain lesson; generally, they set challenges designed to help you grow and learn. Basically, this type of connection is really unique either being special a soul teacher, or a “soul student.”
CONCLUSION
Basically, it’s not easy to find a soul mate connection. But when you do find it, you should never let it go. It is said that our soul mates or soul connections are pre-decided even before we are born and when we meet them, we just know. When this person makes us feel complete from inside and it feels as if this person has the missing piece to your soul that you were looking for all along, you know that you have found your soul connection.
However, it is not necessary to attach yourself to a soul mate for soul growth, even if a soul connection is important. Learning to overcome obstacles, enjoying each other, and becoming a better person through the experience of being with another person is the main point. There may be times when you may be so much like your soul mate that you are bored with them. Other times your soul mate can be a mortal enemy. Scary right? But nevertheless, don’t let it define you.
